My name is Shawn Duross. I am 20 and a Junior at the New England School of Communications in Bangor, ME. I am studying audio/visual technology and radio. I have already had extensive training in all of these areas throughout my high school and college careers and am very skilled in the field of AV Tech. -MCing and PA announcing
Every event needs a voice. I started announcing for softball games in seventh grade and grew from that. I have been on the radio for the past year and have trained my voice through that experience. I have been the MC for such events as the opening day for my local little league as well as multiple weddings and family gatherings. I also commonly announce for sporting events and can also operate the scoreboard. If you need someone to get the crowd excited or just facilitate the activities at your event and let the group know what is going on, I'm your guy.

-Sound system setup, and operation.
Whether it is a small gathering or a large concert, I can make sure you have the sound you need and that it is setup and operating properly. I have equipment for small to medium indoor and outdoor venues. If you don't have any sound system or have a sound system but need more I can either offer my own or provide a consultation as to what you need and where to get it. If you already have enough equipment for your venue I can setup and operate it for your event.

-Home theater system installations and repairs
Interested in installing a new home theater system or upgrading an old one? I can help. I can talk with you to see just how big or small you want to go, and the kind of effect you want to achieve. And I can do it all to fit your budget. I will take care of getting the equipment, installing it and fine-tuning it to your room. From small living rooms to large home theaters, I can turn any room into an astounding movie watching experience.

-Stage and effects lighting installation and operation
Since I was a Freshman in high school I have worked in the theater. I have thorough training in proper stage lighting. Whether you want to install permanent lighting in a theater, fine tune lights you already have or you need a temporary setup for an outdoor or portable stage, I can make sure your venue is well lit for any event or performance. I can design lighting for theater productions, from adjusting the lights to programming the show. If you are putting on a concert, indoors or out, I can install, program and run special effects lighting. I specialize in Martin Light Jockey. From small speaking events with 2 lights on a speaker, to large concerts with moving lights everywhere, I can make sure any even has the lighting it needs to direct the attention or wow the audience.

-Just music
Some events are just better with music. Whether it be a small dinner that needs some background music, or a large sporting event that needs loud music to excite the fans, I can provide a playlist for any event. I specialize in music for sporting events but can easily provide music for any event.

-Just lights (assist other DJs)
As a DJ I believe that music is accented and enhanced by a great light show. If you are a DJ but don't have a lot of lights, you might want some more. I have a collection of over $2,000 worth of effects lighting that will add to any event. You concentrate on the music and I will work with you to put on a light show that will impress any audience.
